Admittedly we can’t have a true playoff … we all love match play, but that would take too long for an individual sport …

The problem I see with this FedEx cup is that in the final cumulation of the season … only 5 guys can win??? So why should anyone else play? Why?
If Adam Scott wins, and Tiger comes last (and no one else in the top 5 do anything worthwhile) then Tiger wins?
If Phil wins the event and Tiger comes second then Tiger wins?
It hurts my brain to think of the other configurations … but how can you have a playoff of 30 players when only 5 can win??
