Well my first playoff game ended in dissapointment… I thought this was a poor showing by the Celtics, especially after smoking the Pacers in Game 4.
I am not a Antoine Walker fan, although I believe he brings good energy to the Celts… This game is so built on superstars… Why didn’t Rivers go with what worked in Game 4? It’s a shame… First half the Celts got great open looks and couldn’t buy a bucket … second half was just abysmal … Al Jefferson brought the crowd back into in … but they didn’t stay with him… I really don’t get it.
The positive side of this game, is that the Celtics actually had cheerleaders ... woohoo….
Well thankfully I am a Miami Heats fan ... and not because of Shaq. I have always and will always be a Heat fan and this season has brought me even more renewed hope because of the big man. I suffered for many years with the Heat/Knicks rivalry, but boy was it fun. Loved Timmy and Zo ! Love, love, love the
Heat Dancers!
Last year was the first time I actually got to see the Heats on tv in a long time, as their network coverage wasn’t what it used to be … and that playoff splurge got me pumped for them … Wade, Odom, Butler, Grant, Alston … just plain exciting .. allot of heart .. and guys who just loved playing with each other. Was sorry to see Odom, Butler, Odom, and Grant go … but how can you turn down the big man … he is a monster!
I love Shaq, but Wade has become increasingly one of my favorite players .. so young .. so unselfish .. so explosive .. so mature … so talented … so humble …
Go CELTS ... Go MIAMI ... If Boston plays Miami … I will cheer for Miami !!
