firebug+firefox = slow windows

It really is a shame… I am a big fan of firebug+firefox… but the two seems to not co-exist very well. Firefox is sluggish, but I am not giving it up… I use to think just disabling firebug, from the firebug menu was the best thing to do …

So … after restarting my firefox 1 gazillion times testing all my add-ons… the each one added some time to launching of pop-up or tabs … but firebug was MASSIVE ... and it’s a shame as i really love it ...

My first inclination, was just to use the firebug built in “disable” ... but that only showed minor improvements …

So now i DISABLE it completely from the ADD-ON menu… and only have web developer which does most of what i need … and when i need to use firebug … i enable and restart my browser…

such a shame … try it and see …

Well put! I love firebug, but I discovered that it was the plug-in that was making new windows take forever and a half to open.
